A monthly diary of activities in Susan’s Garden.
Photo heavy, text light, following a natural timeline.
When May left us, spring fruit in hands still on occasion emerging from long sleeves, the work had begun on Susan’s swimming pool. Family were expected, summer temperatures on the horizon and all was well (or if not a well, at least a hole in the ground).
By the end of June, the canicule had vented its 43.5c wrath on St Quentin La Poterie - and the pool was still just a painted hole in the ground.
But as with all stories of hellish anticipation and heavenly reward, as I write this, Susan has taken to water as a bee does to lavender.
And all is well in Susan’s garden..
